Early Science (K-2)

Course Description:

Welcome to Early Science at Gracious Me Academy, where students in grades K-2 embark on a fascinating exploration of the natural world through hands-on experiments and engaging activities. This course is designed to spark curiosity and build a strong foundation in basic scientific concepts.

In our Early Science course, students will:

• Explore the Natural World: Investigate plants, animals, and their habitats, learning about the environment and how living things interact with each other and their surroundings.
• Understand Basic Physical Science Concepts: Discover fundamental concepts such as forces, motion, and simple machines through interactive experiments and observations.
• Investigate Earth and Space: Learn about weather patterns, the seasons, and the solar system in a fun and age-appropriate manner, fostering an understanding of our planet and the universe.
• Engage in Scientific Inquiry: Practice asking questions, making observations, and conducting simple experiments to develop basic scientific skills and a sense of wonder about how things work.
• Develop Critical Thinking: Use their observations to make predictions, draw conclusions, and communicate their findings, promoting early skills in scientific reasoning and problem-solving.

By the end of the course, students at Gracious Me Academy will have gained a solid understanding of early science concepts, developed a love for exploration and discovery, and built essential skills in observation and inquiry. Our goal is to create an exciting and supportive environment where every child feels inspired to explore, question, and enjoy the wonders of science.
